at Quality Chemical Industries Ltd in UgandaQuality Chemical Industries Ltd (QCIL) is a pharmaceutical plant, producing anti-retroviral and anti-malarial drugs at Luzira Industrial Park in Uganda. QCIL is a joint venture between Quality Chemicals Ltd-a local drug distribution company and CIPLA Ltd- a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer from India.
QCIL is looking for professionally confident, self-motivated, and committed team players to reinforce their capacity by filling the following vacant positions:
C) ELECTRICAL OPERATOR/TECHNICIAN (01)
Reports to the Electrical Engineer
The Main Roles Include:
• Carrying out effective day to day electrical maintenance
• Operation of power plants and maintaining the operation and maintenance logs, and documents
• Carrying out routine power system checks
• Ensuring that electrical works are executed in accordance with professional regulations and standards
Job requirement
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Should be a holder of an Ordinary or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of three (03) years' demonstrable experience in the field of electrical engineering in an industrial set up; knowledge in electronics will be an added advantage.
