Description:

Job Description, Role & Responsibilities:


Implements and coordinates branch business plans, policies and procedures as approved by the Board
Implement the Bank’s Operations Manual
Ensure that the Bank complies with operational statutory requirements
Participate in the preparation of Branch budget and targets
Maintain an aggressive customer calling program
Organise Branch open days / product fairs to promote sales growth
Retain existing customers by maintaining high standards of customer service delivery and building customer loyalty
Provide leadership and direction to the branch operations team
Supervise transactions within your limit at Branch
Proactively manage costs by monitoring expenditure against productivity and budgets
Manage operational risks for branch to prevent losses and other associated risks
Manage the liquidity position of the Branch in line with the Bank’s and BOU regulations and within insurance limits
Manage the Treasury and Clearing Departments
Verify physical cash balances in the safe and manage its replenishment
Verify physical cash holdings to be deposited in the Treasury
Liaise with BOU and banks on Branch operational matters
Manage and supervise branch staff in line with the Operations and HR Manual
Be a key holder to the Main Branch strong room
Set performance targets and periodically carry out staff appraisals
Manage the Branch staff leave program
Perform any other duties that may be assigned to from time to time by management

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience: A University degree with at least 5 years experience in bank branch operations and management.
Interested Candidate must have the following:

Good corporate profile, excellent customer and business development skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
Team player
