The Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda mandated to regulate all the insurance businesses in Uganda has recently rebranded and would like to strengthen its regulatory objective by bringing aboard energetic, skilled and hardworking Ugandans to fill the following posts. All the posts will be on a five year renewable contract, subject to good performance.
Reports to: The Assistant Director Market Research and
Development
Purpose of the Job: To ensure creation of insurance awareness to the public and enable the promotion of insurance business in the country in compliance with the Insurance Act (Cap 213) Laws of Uganda, 2000.
Major Duties:
1. Planning, designing and conducting collaborative research and surveys on insurance industry performance, trends, business and risks to address the challenges faced by the sector.
2. Development and implementation of monitoring systems for tracking fundamental economic, financial and corporate developments in the insurance industry both locally and internationally in order to inform policy formulation.
