RECRUITING COMPANY PROFILE
Our client, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), through the Government of Uganda, has received credit from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards financing an eight year second phase of the Vegetable Oil Development Project (VODP2). MAAIF will be
responsible for the implementation of the project as the lead Project agency, supported by other implementation partners and a strong Public-Private Sector Partnership.
MAAIF is to establish a Project Management Unit to spearhead the Implementation of VODP 2.

Project Manager (1 Position):
Reporting to the Permanent Secretary, MAAIF, the project manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, coordination and accountability of the Project activities and resources.
Requirement:
Qualifications and Experience:
* A Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration or related field. * A minimum of 10 years’ experience, of which 5 years are in the management and implementation of public-donor financed agricultural and rural development projects. * 5 years of experience working with the private sector, preferably in the Vegetable Oil Sub- sector; Salary: – USD/month
