National Medical Stores is an autonomous Corporation that was established by an Act of Parliament 1993. Our mandate is to procure, store and distribute medicines and other medical supplies to the public health facilities and to a lesser extent to the private hearth facilities as wall.

NMS 2011/07: Accounts Assistant Revenue (1 Position)
Job Title: Accounts Assistant Payroll
Purpose of the job:
The Accounts Assistant Payroll is responsible for processing payroll and other statutory payments.
SALARY SCALE: NMS SCALE 5
Reports to; REVENUE ACCOUNTANT.
Location of office: Entebbe
Key accountabilities/Key Result areas:
Duties will be varied and will include but not limited to the following:

1) Responsible for application of health facilities (Customers) expenditure against their allocated budgeted amounts and generate a report on a monthly basis.
2) Carrying out Third Party accounts reconciliation and generating monthly reports.
3) Executing invoicing of orders in accordance with the picking list,
4) Managing of customer budget performance on liaision with the Revenue Accountant,
5) Performing any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Person Specification
Education and Mandatory experience:
1) An honour's degree of Business Administration, Commerce, Finance and Accounts and Statistics from a recognized University and Must have completed at (east stage two of ACCA or CPA qualification.
2) Or must have another honour's degree other than 6BA, B.COM, Finance and Accounts or Statistics but with an ACCA or CPA full qualification,
3) At least two year working experience in Finance, Accounts or Auditing.
4) Must be computer literate especially conversant with Micro soft and accounting packages.
