About this job

The Uganda AIDS Commission was established by Statute of Parliament in February 1992 to coordinate HIV/AIDS issues in Uganda. It is an organisation with a vision of a population free of HIV/AIDS and its effects; and a mission to provide the overall leadership in the coordination and management of the HIV/AIDS National Response. The Commission seeks to recruit highly skilled, experienced and motivated persons to fill the following positions.


(3) JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTANT
Directly Reports to: Director, Finance and Administration Directly supervises:

Accounts Assistant Cashier Main Purpose of the fob
• Ensure that all financial records are accurately written, properly maintained and regular/periodic returns there from properly compiled and submitted to management
• Ensure adequate liquidity for easy implementation of all planned programmes and activities.
