SURE LATEST JOB VACANCIES IN UGANDA: RECRUITMENT FOR LOGISTICS OFFICER (VACANCIES IN UGANDA 2011)

Overall Responsibilities
* Works closely with central and regional SURE program staff, Pharmacy Division, Ministry of Health Programs, Implementing Partners, Makerere University and other training institutions to build capacity in supply chain management at all levels of the health care system. This technical assistance is primarily focused on strengthening and harmonizing logistics systems, providing a link between these entities and harmonizing their systems and processes * Identify training needs in collaboration with stakeholders and support the development of training manuals and conduct trainings * Liaise with the M&E staff at all levels to monitor impact of the capacity building activities and trainings undertaken * Support the rollout of the new and integrated LMIS by incorporating it into relevant training areas at all levels especially in non-SURE districts and implementing partners Qualifications
1) Professional degree in a health area; such as pharmacy, medicine, public health or equivalent, 2) Work experience in facilitating training of health workers in supply chain management,
3) Working experience in Uganda with knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the Uganda public health system. Previous experience with USAID supported programs is an added advantage, 4) Experience in developing training curricula, materials and in delivering training to programs preferred,
5) Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other stakeholders in developing creative and strategic solutions to achieve common goals,
6) Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and shifting deadlines,
7) Strong teamwork and team-building skills,
8) Strong communication skills with ability to write lucid technical reports and documents, 9) Demonstrated computer skills
