Primary Functions:
* To maintain a good relationship with the key stakeholders of local community, in support of the implementation of the operations. Duties and Responsibilities:
* Mapping, research and assessment of the interests of local community stakeholders. * Developing and managing the relationship with the local community (e.g. Governments, NGOs, International organizations, Civil Society organizations). * Scheduling and organizing community-related events, and coordinating internal and external engagements. * Serve as the first point of contact for the community and represent the Company’s interests regarding the related issues. * Ensuring effective and co-ordinated liaison with the local community. * Community relations performance improvement. * Other duties assigned by leaders. Necessary Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree, an advanced degree in Journalism, Communications, Politics,Economics is preferred or the related. * Minimum 7 years working experience. * Work experience at Lake Albert district is highly preferred. * NGO or community background preferred. * Public relations experience would be preferred. * Willingness to travel and a desire to engage with people of different backgrounds and cultures. * Knowledge of the community of Lake Albert required. * Understanding of Oil Exploration & Production. * Excellent communication skills – written, oral and presentation. * Excellent analyzing and problem-solving ability. * Awareness of culture diversity. * Ensuring high quality two-way flow of key messages between the Company and the local community. * Excellent team player. * High standard of business ethics. * Highly motivated and achievement orientated How to Apply:
