PRIDE MICROFINANCE LIMITED (MDI), (PML) the leading Microfinance Deposit-Taking Institution in Uganda with 29 networked branches countrywide and an equal opportunity employer, wishes to recruit a competent, hard working and results oriented person in the position of e-BANKING MANAGER. The e-BANKING MANAGER will be responsible for planning, monitoring, supervising and providing overall coordination of e-Banking channels such as Western Union, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), mobile phone banking, Internet banking and Point of Sale business operations in line with PMLs policies and procedures.
Specific responsibilities include:-
• Plan, review, monitor and coordinate the e-Banking business activities, setting benchmarks for business growth, monitor and evaluate performance and make recommendations in line with the budget guidelines & the business plan.
• Initiate strategies for customer acquisition, growth and retention and ensure that customers access e-banking products at all times.
• Make regular analytical reports on e-banking products, growth and development
• Develop, review and coordinate preparations of the e-Banking policies and procedures manuals in line with the business objectives and industrial standards.
• Review and monitor compliance to the internal control systems, procedures in line with PML's policies and procedures.
• Review & evaluate performance management of subordinate staff in line with HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct reconciliation of e-Banking transactions and prepare periodic consolidated e-Banking reports to management in line with approved procedures.
• Participate in the implementation of programs for the sale of e-banking products and services in liaison with Corporate Affairs department and in line with the business plan, policies & procedures.
• Monitor offsite and onsite ATM staff activities

Job requirement
Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors' degree from reputable Institutions with good grades in ICT, Computer Science, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business Studies and Business Statistics. A masters' degree in a business related field will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should have at least 5 years' working experience in banking, 2 of which should be in e-Banking.
Person Specifications
• Should be a person of integrity and honesty with a clean track record.
• Should be analytical, conceptual, organized, with great attention to detail.
• Should not be more than 35 years of age.
• Bachelors' degree from reputable Institutions with good grades in ICT, Computer Science, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business Studies and Business Statistics. A masters' degree in a business related field will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should have at least 5 years' working experience in banking, 2 of which should be in e-Banking.
