MANAGER LEGAL SERVICES (X1)
Key Result Areas
* Handles all legal matters in which the Company is involved including making appearances and representation at the Courts. * Prepare legal briefs, opinion on matters relevant to the Company and the industry in particular, e.g. Labour issues, Beverage laws, Standards, Tax etc., and review of Internal Regulations and Policies. * Prepare and or review various contracts in which the Company is engaged. * Custodian of all details on real properties and its disposal when necessary. * Custodian of the Company Seal and all details on intellectual properties and Trade Marks and their renewals. * Filing of Annual and Statutory returns of the Company and its subsidiaries. * Maintain and renewal of business licences. * Handle all matters pertaining to Shareholders, including maintenance and update of the Members’ Register. * Handling the payments and replacement of dividends. * Managing Regulators Portfolio and be in compliance with their requirements and conditions as per their modus operandi. * Preparation and Management of Budget in line with the Company’s guidelines and STI targets. * Review of various legislations (new), which might have impact to the business. Qualifications and Personnel specifications
* A Bachelors’ degree in Law (LLB) * Diploma in Legal practice * The candidate must be a registered Advocate with at least five years of practicing. * Experience in handling Company matters, Tax Laws, Labor/Employment laws and intellectual property law. * Self driven, and minimum supervision, * Computer literacy is a must.
