BANK OF AFRICA LATEST JOB VACANCIES IN UGANDA: RECRUITMENT FOR MANAGER ENTERPRISE BANKING (VACANCIES IN UGANDA 2011)

Key Responsibilities

1. Identifying and disseminating information to and from the market / customers, and alerting management and your team on trends, risks, and opportunities to maximise and sustain revenue.

2.Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of customer service in order to maximise the returns from existing relationships, and attract new business from targeted customers.

3. Participate in business development initiatives in line with the overall bank wide strategic plan.
4.Ensuring achievement of Budgetary and monitoring objectives for the Enterprise Banking unit.
5.Monitoring and enhancing the business portfolio risk profile within agreed parameters all the time e.g. acceptable quality of assets within the target segments; together with the Risk Unit, to minimise non-performing assets, and to ensure accumulation of deposits with a view of generating inexpensive and stable deposit base.
6.Review daily reports (balance sheet, profit and loss, accounts in excess and arrears) and take corrective action where necessary. Prepare a report for Credit Management.
7. Review the sales plans for the relationship managers and guide them accordingly.
8.Carry out weekly team sales performance review and prepare a team sales report for the executive meeting.
9.Witness legal documents for example mortgages affidavits, customer correspondences, sales reports and the monthly balanced score card export.
10. Attend to client complaints; carry out site visits sales presentations and business clinics.
11.Identify staff training needs and organize training with the Human Resource Manager, schedule leave for staff, review staff performance, and provide career guidance to them.
12. Exercising any discretionary / delegated powers and authorities within the set limits and with reasonable care.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

o Bachelors Degree in relevant field

oPost Graduate qualification in a relevant field
o A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in banking with exposure to SME lending business
oSelf-guided, strong innovative, creative thinking, analytical, resilience and leadership skills.
o Strongly customer focussed.
o Must be self solution driven, proactive and have an in-depth knowledge of the SME business environment and Industry with Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communications skills
o Exhibit drive energy, aggression and passion for business development and acquisition and has effective customer relationship management skills
