About this job Offer:

RTI International is seeking Technical Advisor candidates for an anticipated Uganda Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) Project. Under this project, RTI and its partners would provide technical and logistical
assistance to the Ministry of Health (MOH)/National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to conduct a malaria prevention program through IRS in at least 10 districts in Uganda.



Advisors will be responsible for providing technical oversight, leadership and managerial direction for the successful implementation of the project.  Senior advisors are sought for the following positions and technical areas:

·         Malaria Expert/Entomologist

·         M&E

·         IEC/BCC

·         Environmental compliance

·         Logistics and supply chain management

Job Position requirement:

  • Masters degree in public health or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience leading technical activities for large, complex, USAID-funded health projects, including at least 5 years of work experience in Uganda
  • Demonstrated expertise and/or experience in malaria prevention and control at the community and district level.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with USAID, government counterparts at all levels, local organizations, and other cooperating partners.
  • Experience in strengthening linkages between national, district and community levels to better integrate IRS and malaria prevention with other technical service delivery activities.
